Who is responsible

Wasteer GmbH is responsible for the personal data you send us. Address and data protection contact details will be added here before this notice is final.

What data we collect

• Your name, email address and, if you give it, your LinkedIn profile link.
• Your CV (PDF or DOCX) and everything written in it.
• What happens in the process: interview stages, internal notes from our team and the emails we exchange with you.

Why we use it

To assess your application, contact you and decide whether to offer you a role. Our recruiters and hiring managers see your data. Nobody outside the hiring team does.

Automated processing with Gemini

We send your CV to Google Gemini, a language model, to extract a summary and to compare your experience with the requirements of the role. The result is a suggestion that helps our team prioritise. It is never the only basis for a decision: a person reviews every application and decides.

How long we keep it

We delete your data 6 months after the application process ends, whether you were hired or not. If you are hired, relevant data moves into your employment records.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, at any time. To have your data deleted or to make a request, email hiring@wasteer.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
